Dr. Bobby Donaldson, professor of History and African –American Studies at the University of S.C., who has done extensive work on Columbia’s Ward One neighborhood, will moderate a panel with individuals representing historic sites and neighborhoods in Columbia and Richland County. Panel discussions include the Mann-Simons archaeology project, Historic Randolph Cemetery, and the Harriett Barber House, all sites preserved for their historical significance. The group will discuss the fascinating stories and lifestyles of the people associated with each site.
