Peak Drift to support Historic Columbia’s peak experiences
Historic Columbia (HC) is pleased to announce that Peak Drift Brewing Company, an innovative craft beverage company based in Columbia, S.C., will serve as the “Official Craft Beer of Palladium” for all HC Palladium events during the 2023-2024 fiscal year.
Peak Drift Brewing Co. produces high-quality award-winning craft beers, hard seltzers and non-alcoholic beverages inspired by the great landscapes of the Southeast region. The Peak Drift Brewing Co. brewery is housed in the historic Stone Manufacturing Company manufacturing facility, located in the heart of Columbia’s North Main District. Peak Drift is reimagining the 65,000-square-foot facility, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, into a brewery and entertainment complex sure to draw many craft beer and historic preservation enthusiasts alike.
“We’re delighted to have the support of Peak Drift as the Official Craft Beer of Palladium,” said Robin Waites, executive director of Historic Columbia. “This community partnership offers us the opportunity to feature a local product with strong ties to historic preservation at Palladium events. Peak Drift’s generous sponsorship will allow more funds raised to directly benefit HC’s mission.”
HC’s community impact can be measured by the number of significant historic resources that have been preserved, the sense of community pride engendered by our historic neighborhoods, and the growing financial support of individuals, corporations, and the local, state and federal governments. By documenting and sharing the complex history of Columbia and Richland County and focusing on strategic partnerships, HC ensures that historic preservation and local history are key drivers in the community’s economic development and quality of life, and that the organization is the local leader in heritage tourism.
Peak Drift’s mission is to celebrate the peak moments in life through innovative craft beverages and experiences that represent everything that makes the Southeast special – the mountains, the ocean, the rivers, and most of all, the people. Peak Drift is committed to creating innovative craft beverages that champion industry collaboration, uplift our communities, and keep sustainability and quality at the forefront.
"Peak Drift Brewing Company is excited to launch this partnership and provide continued support to Historic Columbia," said Jason Snyder, vice president of sales and operations, Peak Drift Beverages. "Uplifting our community is a core focus for Peak Drift, and we are proud to support Historic Columbia's historic preservation and educational programs."
