Laura & Fred at Robert Mills
Tuesday, May 28th 2019
Laura and Fred had a playful, memorable time commemorating forever at the Robert Mills House and Gardens on November 3, 2018. Happy tears were shed in the gardens when the gorgeous bride-to-be revealed her breathtaking pearl white gown to her loving fiancé. The bridesmaids joined in the photos with their sweet, patterned yellow dresses. The groomsmen looked striking in their gray suites and patterned ties. The couple’s love was undeniable during this special, intimate first look before the ceremony.
When it was time for the ceremony, guests anxiously took their seats. The historic front gates of the Robert Mills property served as the backdrop, decorated in greenery. Wedding Coordinator Megan Warren made sure the bridesmaid’s ivory bouquets coordinated perfectly with the bride’s peach and orange bouquet from Wimberly Fair Designs. This color combination was bright and perfect for golden hour. Laura looked angelic in the gentle November sun as she walked down the aisle, preparing for her forever. Eager guests rose as the couple exchanged vows and had their first kiss as a married couple.
After the sweet ceremony, it was time to celebrate! The reception was incredibly lively and full of great music from the Mustache Brothers Band. Guests of all ages were dancing to the fun acoustic tunes all night long. A pinball machine was even stationed underneath the back stairs, lending to great photo ops and another fun activity. F2T Productions offered a delicious, colorful food spread under the magnolia trees. Bright orange and blue tablescapes perfectly complimented the rustic farm tables and lounge area, provided by Party Reflections. Ambient Media made sure the back lawn was covered in cozy lighting, with café bulbs strung from the trees. Photographer Lucy Cuneo was able to capture the essence of the evening through magnificent photographs.
As the night progressed, the bridal party sported cozy denim jackets together and danced the night away. The playful jackets created a fun, lighthearted mood and smiles were contagious among guests. When it was time to send-off the newlyweds to their honeymoon, guests waved bright streamers and cheered for the loving couple. Fred swept Laura off her feet with a kiss before the two left the gardens to begin their historically ever after.
