Historic Columbia is the primary preservation advocacy organization in Columbia and Richland County. We work with neighborhoods, City and County Council members, property owners and other interested parties to ensure the preservation of essential historic resources in the area. Demolition Review
The City of Columbia has a demolition review process that offers a window of opportunity for citizens to voice their concerns over the proposed destruction of historic properties that carry a local landmark status or may be eligible for such distinction. Learn More
