May is Historic Preservation Month and what better time to learn how preservation makes sense (and can save dollars!) in the long-run. Join Historic Columbia’s Director of Cultural Resources, John Sherrer, and Rachel Walling, City of Columbia Preservation Planner, for a crash-course on understanding the process and benefits of having your property in the National Register of Historic Places distinction and eligible for Bailey Bill tax abatements. Admission is free to Historic Columbia members and costs $5 for nonmembers. Tuesday, May 17th, 12:00 pm-1:00 pm.
