What spaces are available for photoshoots?
We have both interior and exterior spaces available, including all garden spaces, the interior of Seibels House, the interior of the Boyd Horticultural Center, and the interior of the Carriage House at Robert Mills.
What is the cost to take photos at HC properties?
Outdoor spaces are free Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Outside of these hours, renting spaces for photoshoots starts at $100/hour for garden spaces and $150/hour for indoor spaces.
Do I have to schedule my photoshoot?
Yes, even if you are taking advantage of our free photoshoot hours, you must schedule your photoshoot with our Rentals Coordinator.
Photoshoots may not be scheduled Friday through Sunday during the months of March, April, May, October, November, and December.

Can I have a photoshoot inside of one of your museums?
No, photoshoots are not allowed inside of any HC historic house museums.
Can I bring a pet to my photoshoot?
We are pet friendly in our outdoor spaces! We just ask that you clean up after your furry friend.
Are there any prohibited items?
Glitter, confetti, sparklers, and spray string are not allowed on any property for any purpose. Open flames and/or sources of high heat may not be used in any interior space due to the historic nature of our venues.
Is there a way to know which plants will be blooming in the gardens during my photoshoot?
Yes! Please click here to view our garden database, where you can select the property you wish to rent. Then, under advanced options, you can select the Flower Time (season) and hit search!
What are other guidelines for my photoshoot?
No interior or exterior furniture, fixtures, or plantings may be moved, altered, or cut. Please leave grounds and restrooms in an orderly fashion.
What is your cancellation policy?
Booked times are final and may only be moved due to weather or other emergencies. Refunds are not issued for unused time on the day of the rental.
