Each year, Historic Columbia celebrates local preservation successes by highlighting the myriad ways that our community embraces historic places and the stories they hold.
On May 15, 2025, commemorate Preservation Month through Historic Columbia’s annual Preservation Awards Ceremony at the Pool at 701 Whaley—the recipient of a rehabilitation award in 2022. Please join us for drinks and light hors d'oeuvres followed by the awards presentation to recognize exemplary projects and inspiring people.

Our annual Preservation Awards recognize local projects that have maintained or added to the historical, architectural, and cultural heritage throughout Columbia and Richland County.
